About Us

Founded in 1999, Järvamaa Vaegkuuljate Ühing is a registered non-profit organization that represents and supports people with hearing impairments in Järvamaa County. Our goal is to reduce barriers caused by hearing loss and improve the quality of life for our members. We organize workshops, awareness campaigns, cultural events, and peer-support programs while collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and public institutions. What makes us unique is our strong community-driven approach, our commitment to equality, and our dedication to empowering members to participate actively in society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower individuals with hearing impairments in Järvamaa by promoting equal opportunities, social inclusion, and active participation in community life. Through advocacy, education, awareness, and support services, we strive to create a society where people with hearing impairments can live with dignity, independence, and fulfillment.
